The 1st Edition awarded Silver (Best in Class)
Mackmyra The 1st Edition won Silver (Best in Class) at the 2008 International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC).
“This is again proof on the high and even quality on our whisky. And specially now that it is not a limited edition being awarded but a bottling avaliable for a longer time” said Magnus Dandanell, Managing Director and one of the founders of Mackmyra Svensk Whisky.
Judges tasting notes of The 1st Edition:
“Pale, greeny gold. Inviting nose with floral notes and quietly evolving malty tones with vanilla and spice. Soft yet firm across the palate with fine texture and malty, grainy crunch. Long, firm, floral finish. Delightful.”
