Carefully selected ingredients

All malt whisky is based on barley, water and yeast. The character is refined through smoking and maturing in oak casks. The result is a unique drink, which is different at each distillery.

The first basic ingredient, the barley, is taken from rolling fields all over Sweden. The water must also maintain a high level of quality. For this reason we value the fine sands of the Valboåsen ridge, where the water is filtered and becomes clean and clear. Just as good as it has to be to create a good whisky.

The final basic ingredient of the whisky is the special brewer’s yeast. Now the work can start.
